　It will be that our company was born as an individual firm "Yamashita ironworker " in Hitoyoshi , which is called "small Kyoto" of the Kumamoto prefecture southern part, in November, 1924 (Taisho 13). Tumultuous time “Showa” were the time which was just going to open the curtain.

　It will be corporation-ization in 1949 (Showa 24). It becomes the "Yamashita ironworker limited company" and came to deal with check activity of the main plants in a hydroelectric power station, and auxiliary machinery in it etc. or plumbing, such as vertical water-service construction besides construction-related works, which was the main occupation.

　Specially, the connection with Kyushu Electric Power Co., Inc. deepens, the Miyazaki branch office will be established in 1965 (Showa 40), and an enterprise is expanded not only in the Kumamoto prefecture but in the Miyazaki prefecture.

 Though the handicap of traffic was held, the order of work was received from the firm of Yatsushiro-city, Kumamoto prefecture etc., and the technical force was conserved, and it became the cooperation works of Kyushu Toshiba Machine Co., Ltd. which has advanced to Kitakyusyu-city, Fukuoka prefecture.

　Since high degree of accuracy and short time for delivery will correspond in 1985 (Showa 60), introduction of numerical-control machine is started. It has four CNC lathes and four MC(s) now, and came to have leading equipment in Hitoyoshi and the Kuma district, and came to order from Tokai Carbon Co., Ltd. and Seiken graphics Co Ltd..
　

Increasing activity specific gravity of IT correlative industry

 Moreover, in July, 1995 (Heisei 7) Kyushu automatic driveway -- whole-line opening of traffic. The problem of "traffic" which was the old handicap was also solved, and the transactions with Hitachi Zosen Corp. also started. Corresponding to enlargement of a customer, the 2nd works will be worked in April, 1997 (Heisei 9), and the capital is increased.

[A machine and an instrument maintenance]　Maintenance activity, such as check, maintenance, etc. of the main engine of a generator and auxiliary machinery, is carried out in the hydroelectric power station of the electric-power firm situated in each Kyushu prefecture centering on both Kumamoto and Miyazaki prefectures. Moreover it is dealing also with a steel structure and machine instrument installation construction.

[Plumbing and equipment construction]　It is dealing with the water-and-sewage construction and pipe construction for which Hitoyoshi-city office and Kumamoto Prefecture office place an order, equipment construction, etc. Moreover, it is carrying out by combining plumbing of a private sector residence, leakage-of-water repair construction, and equipment construction.

 Our company has not taken the form of the works which specialized in the "round-head" machining by the engine lathe, or the "angle" machining by the milling cutter.

 It is one of the "main battlefields" of the our company management maintenance part. overhaul repair construction of a water-wheel generator makes the main, and carries out an overhaul procedure at the process for 2-3 months.

 The severe work of which the accuracy of a 1/100mm unit is required as the subject of work called a waterwheel power generator being large continues every day. If the day of a completion is met soon, obtaining aid of a machining part, the satisfactory feeling will say "it is hard to replace also with a what thing".

 In addition, it is dealing also with hydroelectric power station main and sub plants general and decomposition check periodically, such as the water-works facility a oil-water separation facility, a strainer, a crane, and a compressor, by West Japan Engineering Consultants co., Ltd (the affiliated company of Kyushu Electric Power Co., Inc.,) and activity in an electric power plant is "non-stop" all the year.
